Campaigners trying to keep child heart surgery in Leeds have won a High Court challenge over proposed changes.
Save Our Surgery (SOS) brought a judicial review to the High Court in London last month, over an NHS decision to stop operations at at Leeds General Infirmary.
SOS have argued that the consultation process leading up to the changes was "unfair and procedurally flawed", a position that was backed today by a judge.
Today Mrs Justice Nicola Davies, sitting at London's High Court, ruled that the challenge must succeed - but what the victory means for the future will be decided at a later date.
