A family-friendly walking event is coming to Cambridge later this month to help find the cure for type 1 diabetes.
The event, which takes place on Sunday, June 12 will start and finish at Christ's Pieces and will see hundreds of people unite to support the type 1 diabetes charity JDRF around the streets of the city.
With something for all ages and abilities, people can take part in either the 5k or 10k route, which will take in the historic city centre and historic colleges along with parks and the River Cam.
There will be refreshments and activities to keep the whole family entertained during the event which runs from 10.30am-3pm and includes a group warm-up.
