What's your preferred treat with a cuppy - so far I've only had a chocolate eclair or a couple of lotus biscuits or a couple of shortbread petitcoat tails also anyone know of lower carb cakes other than an eclair would get bored of them after a while (btw I do not do this everyday just to make myself clear haha) x

I don't snack as no need to do so. Lunch and evening meal is more than enough in one day for me.

When I get desperate I lick the condensation off the inside of the window, apart from that I don't really pine for cakes or biscuits. I'd rather have something savoury than sweet

I sometimes have a couple of Nairn's Oat Ginger biscuits, 6.6g of carbs.

Oh I've just found out a Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter (my old favourite) only has 23g carbs in so that will be an after dinner or tea treat for me 🙂 x

I only eat birthday cake and Christmas cake. The rest of the time I walk on by.

Only being diagnosed a week before my birthday and let out the hospital not knowing much I missed out on birthday cake :( I usually get a slab of home made christmas cake off my father in law to be but not this year, wouldn't have fancied trying to work out the carbs in that anyway haha maybe next birthday and christmas lol x

I like Nature Valley salted caramel protein Bars as a snack. I do get peckish and I like to eat something that won't give me a huge spike. Amazingly they contain only 10g carbs but are very sustaining and tasty. Another favourite is 9bars which are made of seeds and nuts and between 10 and 13g carbs depending on the variety. I did stop eating those for a while as they are nearly 300 calories each and I was trying to lose weight. They are quite filling though. Holland and Barret sell them. Tesco used to sell smaller versions in a four pack which made them cheaper and less calorific but I am boycotting Tesco now so have no idea whether they still sell them.

Had a 9bar this afternoon as my afternoon hypo prevention snack. Very nice indeed
