Can you speak to your doctor or nurse tomorrow to ask if they can increase how much you get?

Gail, having a Hi on your meter is not good news. Please either ring someone, after hours Drs or A&E you need medical help now not tomorrow or next week.

Good to hear things are coming down Gail, although obviously very high still. Keep well-hydrated, but don't overdo it. Hopefully, you won't be at risk from ketones as a Type 2, so try not to worry. I must admit, I was surprised when you told us the dose of lantus they started you off on, but hopefully with the information of your past week's readings they will be able to give you a more appropriate dose and you will begin to improve over the week to come.

Take care {{{Gail}}}
