What BS level/number would you do a correction at ie 10, 12....?

Being on a pump, anything above 6.5, my top target, can be corrected......

When I was on injection anything above 8 was corrected.....

Generally, anything over 8. I recall reading somewhere that blood sugar does damage once it starts getting over about 7.4. Therefore I go with 8 as meters aren't that accurate.

I'm on injections and anything above 8 I will correct unless I'm going to be doing some form of exercise.

8 and above for me but I guess it would depend on how much a unit will bring you down by, 1 unit drops me by about 2.5

Depends entirely on when the reading is taken for me.

If I've just massively fluffed the dose-timing I may well just sit-out a high for a few hours and wait for it to come down.

I tend to do above 10 but to be honest I can't get my sugars under control at the moment so would love to know the answer myself 😉

xx

Depends what time it is and when I am next due to eat, but generally speaking I would correct if over 7 as long as I had no active bolus insulin on board.
