Type 2
hi all
been type 2 for 2yrs,starting feeling unwell again, blood sugars are up,have to test myself for a few weeks, think have got a bit off the rails with my diet though thought i wasnt too bad, think i need a proper diet plan, fed up and confused at the moment, what i can have to lower my blood sugars !!!

Welcome to the forum, brownie51.
It's a combination of diet (controlling carbohydrate and perhaps calories, too), exercise, perhaps reducing body weight (if overweight) and perhaps medication (if needed).
What's prompted "have to test myself for a few weeks"?

i go to the gym and have lost weight, down to 9 stone, have been on metformin for 2 yrs,now my sugars have goneup,im wondering if i dont drink regurlarly this might be a cause, being feeling anxious and lightheaded, had blood test my blood glucose was 13,so doctor given me test kit to test my sugars before and after meals, might keep a diary of food to see if i can see what triggers it
