Hi all,

Just wondering what others do if you're going for a brew / coffee with a friend, to a friends house etc, mid morning / afternoon and there are buscuits eg plain digestives, chocolate digestives, jaffa cakes.........do you have 1 x buscuit or 2 x or non at all?

My friend is coming this afternoon for couple of hours 🙂

In the past I would of had a couple of biscuits with me brew but now I really am trying to be good and just accept a brew without.

Really hope you and your friend have a lovely afternoon whatever you decide
x

Probably just the one if my next meal was a while off, if it was close, just keep count and include in the next meals dose.....

I tend to decline/not attack any biscuits.

If I were lower end of my range I'd eat a biscuit without injecting, but avoid them if higher end of range.

If I was going to have more than one (or a bit of cake) I'd jab for it, but 20 odd years suggests these treats are often a bit too much brainache (dose stacking... accuracy of small doses... absorption profile of the treats involved...)

It's supposed to be much easier now on a pump, but I've not really experimented much since starting in November.

It's always been easier just to say no 🙄

Depends on the biscuit but most of them you could get away with just one - if you want more you would need to inject - if its close to a meal then you don't need to eat a biccy , it will spoil you dinner, tsk tsk ( :D sorry I am such a MeanMom😉)

Usually, I take a biscuit, as I can use the CHO for cycling within the next hour or so. But sometimes, not hungry, so won't have one.

It all depends on how I'm feeling, but temptation of a nice choccie biccie is usually too much to resist 🙂

Hi all,

Had a great afternoon with my friend but after me asking my question ended up having no biscuits at all!

Anyway thanks for all the replies, at least i'll know about what to do in the future.

Please yourself is the answer, same as you would if you weren't D.

If they look highly carborific and I fancy one, I'd say to the friend have you still got the packet for these? and dive in her bin to fish it out and check if I needed a jab.

And I'd still offer biscuits if I invited her round, although I don't usually offer them if it's just casual and I wasn't just thinking I'd like one meself. And I certainly wouldn't expect them to be offered as a matter of course.
