Ok Till I can get a grip on the diet for T2 suggestions for brekkie please?.

I have just had a glass of soya milk (carb sugars 0.3g for 240 mils) and one banana.

I am the most hungry at breakfast time.

Bananas have a tendency to produce quite a high blood sugar rise in a lot of people - the riper it is, the more quickly the levels will rise. A lot of people go for natural yoghurt with berries and nuts (is there a soya yoghurt you can have?). Proper porridge with coarse oats is supposed to be slow-release (of glucose) and also good for cholesterol levels. It's difficult to determine what is best for you until you are able to test your levels afterwards and determine the effects - people can vary greatly in what they can tolerate.

Unfortunately a lot of the things Type 2s have for Breakfast to stop large rises in their blood sugars are not suitable for a vegan (eggs, bacon that kind of thing).

Many people find bread spikes them - there is a thread on it somewhere I will see if I can find it.

If you can find a vegan bread that doesn't cause too great a rise in your blood sugars you could add mushrooms or sliced tomato to it.

Here is a thread on breakfasts - you might find something to your liking in it.

You can search the forum for breakfast and you might come across some more ideas.
