Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hiya,
I'm new here and learning slowly what is what. Type 2 & on metformin
Should I be eating similar amount at similar times of day?
I work a two weekly shift pattern
8am to 4pm - lunch break at 12:30 and 2 ten minute breaks
11:30 to 8pm - lunch break at 3pm and 2 ten minute breaks
Is this likely to impact my diabetes and diabetes management?
TIA
K

Nobody will know that, in advance of a person doing it and doing regular blood tests while they are doing it. W all have to do the tests on ourselves because no two people will ever be the same. Similar in some ways but never the same.

You need to eat regularly anyway - but not the same amounts or the same things at the same times - life would be pretty boring if you did have to be so regimented.
