Does anyone have any low carb breakfast ideas please? porridge makes my BG too high

Poached eggs on one slice of toast? Greek yoghurt and fresh berries with a sprinkle of seeds? Mushroom omelette?

Steak and mushrooms with a stir fry or salad is more to my liking.

Eggs of any sort are good, with bacon or smoked salmon or mushrooms. You could probably manage a small piece of toast but would need to test to check. Continental style breakfast with cooked meats and cheese should be good.

My best has always been eggs in any way, they are a good start tgey are very good for you. I had a 3 egg omelette this morning with about ten mushrooms. I try to only have a slice of bread just once a week

The egg marketing board have been right all along it turns out in their advice in telly adverts in the 1950s - 'Go to work on an egg!'

Good job we didn't listen to Edwina when she almost destroyed the egg industry
