BRAVE Isla Barnett, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes over the summer, has been helping to raise money for the charity Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) by taking part in the Bridgwater Charity Fun Run.
The six-year-old, who lives in Bridgwater with her family, found out she had the illness on August 12 and spent four days in hospital.
Her mother, Lindsey, said she had been coping really well with the changes they've had to make.
