I won't go to bed below 7, because whatever I do, I always get a dip and a rise, so need to make sure I don't dip into hypo territory. My go to snack is a piece of cheese with a couple of poppy and sesame crackers.
7 is nice as I wake up exactly the same, oddly anything higher and i end up way lower 3.5 to 4 , and I mean anything higher, if 24 i wake up 4. I am too afraid of having a hypo in my sleep so I will take a couple of biscuits chocky preferably ( oh what a bad boy I am )
If I have a libre on then my bedtime and waking readings are just from that, and I wouldn't go to bed under 5.0 without having a rich tea biscuit like Lin. Finger prick BG, would be not under about 5.7.
I don't go to bed with less than 5.5 but remember I was told to not go less than 8, but obedience is not one of my qualities!
My snack could be some nut butter and chocolate, or some blueberries. Maybe a gluten free oatcake.
Interesting, I find a lotus biscuit can be taken for a 6 a 5.5 I have a lotus and a square of 90% but I find the higher I've gone to bed the more I'm likely to fall by morning x
I go to bed no less than 5 if lower I have a chocolate digestive biscuit lol I use to get to many hypos while asleep so I make sure it's not less than 5 I prefer it to be 6 or 7 tho
