when trying to do my blood glucose i struggle to get blood out my finger anyone else have this problem & how do you solve it thanks

Sometimes it is hard getting the blood to flow if your hands are cold. Wash your hands in some nice warm water first, the heat will help bring the blood to the surface making it easier to test. Or just make sure your hands are warm and alternate your fingers regularly. Hope this helps.

Gently massage your finger towards the tip before you prick and keep your hand below your heart. Prick on the fleshy part just to the side, most monitors only require a drop the size of a pin head, so not very much.
