Just injected my insulatard for the night, first off my finger wouldn't stop bleeding after the lancet, so put aplaster on that. Then after injecting, remove needle and blood just gushed out my thigh, so now have a plaster there too!

Don't normally bleed as much, looks like I killed a pig :(

Grrrrrr........

It is very warm at the moment. I find the hotter it is the more I bleed. In the event it happens again it might help to put something cold on the site to stop it bleeding.

Mine's very thin at the moment too, but it can't be the heat, it's still in the teens here. I reckon it's because my numbers are running so low. I've noticed my blood is thicker when I'm high.

Thats a thought, it is very muggy up here. I was in bed, so didn't have anything cool to hand, could've gone to bathroom though. Just have yet another bruise to add to the collection:(

soak a flannel in cold water and hold over the site that is bleeding. Fingers and hands when you have tested are a bit easier to put in a bowl of cold water or under the cold tap than a thigh or a tummy after injecting! Sorry understatement of the week, but I hoeope you know what I mean...
