Hi sjhmontgomery, welcome to the forum.

Glad you joined as getting support early on can make the world of difference.

We've got some info on our site that may help with figuring out what to eat and how to manage things, this page is a good place to start https://www.diabetes.org.uk/guide-to-diabetes/enjoy-food/eating-with-diabetes/i-have-type-2-diabetes.

Please feel free to share a bit more about yourself and what your main concerns are re how to lower your blood sugar levels and we'll be happy to help.

Welcome @sjhmontgomery 🙂 How long have you had Type 2? How high are your blood sugars?
I was diagnosed in 2010. My problem is that I yo yo with weight. I discipline myself on Exante get the weight and sugar levels down. Then put the weight back on . I know it’s wrong but I don’t seem to be able to help myself. Self loathing etc ..I’m not trying to sound desperate but do need change…. Obviously lol
