Type 2
Good morning everyone, my name is John. I have type 2 and was informed about it 20 years ago. I have done all the things you are supposed to do and at the moment it's all under control. I check my blood sugar every day, and last week I started to get high readings, yet I had not done anything different. I opened a new container of test strips and my blood sugar levels reduced to normal levels. Has anyone had a similar problem like this, best regards John

It is extremely annoying to get faulty test strips but unfortunately it isn’t that uncommon

Welcome to the forum John @Rocky dog

How frustrating for you to get a dodgy pot if strips.

Had they been open for a while? Might be worth checking the leaflet that comes with them to see if there are storage or usage precautions? Some strips can be adversely affected by exposure to moisture/humidity and extremes of temperature.

Good thinking to switch to a new pot though!
