@travellor But there are plenty of us who eat saturated fats and see improvement in cholesterol levels. Perhaps you were eating too many carbs whilst you were also eating saturated fats?

So that's why I cant find full-fat lactose free milk then
I have no idea how they extract the lactose from milk, so can't comment I'm afraid, but you would think that since there is less lactose to extract from whole milk it would be easier, but perhaps the fat complicates the extraction process.

It seems it's only ever the same handful that post that from the responses to cholesterol threads to be honest.
The other response then seems to be "it's not about numbers, it's about ratios" when they haven't gone down.
And then "it's not about low cholesterol, people need cholesterol to live, so a high number is good" comes after that.
Then we usually get the "all causes of death" numbers.

They don't, they add lactase to break it down before you drink it.
