At risk of diabetes
I Have a nexus mini ultra monitoring system, but I am unsure what my glucose level should be

Thank you for your reply, I am pre diabetic, your reply has helped
I suppose prediabetic can be interpreted as being a warning that unless you make some lifestyle changes in reducing the amount of carbohydrates and getting more exercise then you could find yourself with a diabetes diagnosis. There is usually no need for medication as although the body is struggling to cope with carbs, reducing those will give your body a fighting chance to bring the level down to normal.
Reducing portions of high carb foods and reserving some things as treats rather than an everyday thing is often all that is needed.
