Two years ago today marks the start of Mr Eggy’s run of heart attacks, procedures and ops. We had only been retired for 13 days. It’s bitter sweet as after his final operation last July he is doing so well and if you didn’t know him you would never guess he had a very complex heart condition. I don’t even think it has clicked with him the date, but I still worry about him all the time although the consultant is very happy with him and he’s been signed off from the hospital. I’m sitting in the house at this moment watching him build a sandstone wall around a pond he has also built. I have to restrain myself from shouting at him to not overdo it! I know we are very lucky and if it’s taught us anything it’s “ don’t sweat the small stuff”. Here’s to many more anniversaries.
