I have diabetes type 2 and binge eating disorder..is there anyone who has found a way.to.manager their BED?

welcome to the forum @Cassie135

Sorry to hear about your disordered eating - diabetes, and the requirement to watch food closely can make eating disorders much more likely unfortunately, particularly in young women.

Were you living with disordered eating before your diagnosis with diabetes? Or has your eating disorder come on since?

Are you getting specialist psychological support for your eating disorder? Sometimes getting the right support can be tricky, especially finding clinicians who have experience of both disordered eating and diabetes.

BEAT is a UK charity that seeks to support anyone living with disordered eating (though it isn’t diabetes specific). There is a ‘BEAT finder‘ tool too, which can help you find support in your area

Hello and welcome to the forum @Cassie135 🙂 I have the same problem. If you can just stick to it eating low carb cures the cravings and puts you in control. I'm 67 and have been a binge eater since I was 9. Nightmare.
