Hi. Had a can of Big Soup today for lunch as couldn’t face salad - chicken and vegetable. Tested before and two hours later it had dropped by just under one point! Does that sound right? Is that good? 30 g carbs in whole tin but hopefully that means I can have tinned soup? Still trying to understand how all, this works!

That is an interesting and encouraging result, which suggests that whatever you are doing or whatever regimen you have is effective. And also that your choices are not as limited as you may have felt. Some soups have surprising levels of carbohydrate, but may also be relatively slow uptake. Also still trying to understand how this works...

Yes, I was pleased. Like you I’m learning after my dx some five weeks ago. I suppose an overall picture is what is required but I shall be buying a few more tomorrow and seeing what happens. You just get sick of salad so have to experiment!

And I am still learning after a dx in 2008. There are so many variables. Maybe it is the time of year for onion soup?

Baxter’s Hearty soups are good too, especially the smoked bacon and 3 bean one.
