Big collection weekend

well - I didn't know there was a target anyway. And couldn't tell how much people were putting in, the buckets were designed so the dosh disappeared, not like holding a tin out to people where they have the carefully place the money in the slot.

I was too busy talking to peeps and decorating their children with stickers anyway !

They gave most of the stickers away on Friday so there was like 50 left til Sunday so we were told to give them to kids only.

Not heard from my team leader as to how much we raised

i had by drip lol but soooo worth it 😛
 
Have to say, our store was excellent, got the table for us and have leaflets and literature at the tills. Having been stupid enough to get roped in as a team leader I made sure I told all my attendees how much we raised each day. I thought we did pretty well but the total is not as important as getting the message out there and talking to people. We gave away loads of literature and managed to promote our own local group at the same time so all good. The money is a bonus.
