Today
07:24am - 6.2 on waking 16u tresiba taken - 2nd day since decreasing from 18u to 16u
9:32am - 9.2 breakfast 36g carbs 3.5u humalog - bolus advisor suggested 1u correction - I don't know why and I dismissed it because on DSN's advice I'm only to correct if BGL is over 10mmol - looking forward to my phone call tomorrow re over correcting with my insulin being as I follow her advice!
14:12pm - 16.9 no idea where this came from! Lunchtime 51g carbs 5.5u humalog plus 5u humalog correction
17:47pm just tested to see what was happening - 9.5 - don't need to do anything until teatime

tested blood ketones - 0.1mmol

Make sure you tell her about today's numbers, you might not have gone so high in the afternoon if you'd done the correction!

I will tell her but it's very hard with her saying "only correct over 10mmol" and "you're over correcting again with your insulin"

Make sure to ask for specific instances where she feels you have corrected when you shouldn't so that you understand better and as said mention that situation today where you rejected the bolus advisor's advice and didn't do the correction.

I do wonder if your rise this afternoon may be an indication that your reduction of 2 units Tresiba was too much but only time will tell.

Re asking for specific instances I've already (the day after my voicemail) sent her an email to ask - I'm good and waiting and can't wait to hear what she says.

I'm wondering the same about the 2u reduction of Tresiba - I wished now that I'd done 1u so from 18u to 17u like I've been doing just recently ie altering by just 1u. As you say time will - we'll see what the next few days brings.

This site is very good at answering the question people ask but I often find when you e-mail about anything, people have often not read what you said and don't answer the question you really needed to know the answer to.
