Today I was 6.3 pre meal,I had 170g of low sugar baked beans but decided to rinse them well of the sauce(I still enjoyed them)1 slice of Hovis low carb bread,1 poached egg,and 4 sliced mushrooms cooked in microwave, this was a nice meal
An hour after I was 7.2 and after 2 hours 7.0,how does that sound to the informed?,was there a number of units that you should try to keep you bg rising to after a meal,I can't remember the figures.
I just starting to take my notes and record stuff now,I have 50 bg strips and have ordered another 100.
It might sound strange washing the beans but when I tested the temperature of some beans I was giving to my mum the other day by putting my tongue on the fork,I was shocked at how sweet they now taste so washed all of the sauce off today and they still were a nice taste, the beans where only 25p for a tin and I had only half of it,so it saved me having to prep dried beans

That meal sound nice as well as being good for you BG wise.

I used to test my mums food like that too 🙂

The advice is a rise of no more than 3 after eating. You're well within that 🙂
And starting at 6.3, you've got plenty of room from the 10-11, which we've to try and stay under.
