SOPHIE Mansell, 25, from Milford Haven has raised more than £200 for Diabetes UK Cymru by completing the Cardiff half-marathon.
Inspired by the impact the condition has had on her best friend, Alex McCarthy, Sophie has been training hard over the last few weeks to prepare for the race, which took place in Cardiff on Sunday, October 5.
Her hard work paid off, as Sophie finished the race in 2 hours 30 minutes and 29 seconds, crossing the finish line with her two friends Nicola Ford and Helen Bray.
