Nice and simple for me if possible ?

Micheal Moseley? Keto etc ?

Do we actually need one or is there plenty on line and even on here ?

The problem is everyone has a different idea on what is "best".
I looked at everything, highlighted the good bits, crossed out the disagreeing bits, and made a diet based on what worked for me.

I appreciate that I am just looking for a few basic diabetic eating books as there is too much out there

The Keto Diet , Mediterranean, I have no idea where to begin

Everything affects your choice though.

What meds you are on, (not just diabetes, any other health issues)
Do you need to lose or gain weight,
Generally what sort of diet can you do?
What sort of foods do you enjoy.
What works for me, may be totally wrong for you.

Have a look at

for a good general starting point.
