Hi all,

It seems ridiculous that I haven't signed up sooner, I've been skulking the forums for about 2 years.

My partner of 5 years has Type 1 diabetes and he found out 2 years ago in February. Since then it completely changed our lives. He has good days and bad days and I'd like to think I'll always be there for him when things get rough.

Anyway, thought I'd show my 'face' and hope to contribute to the forums in the future. I've got a fair few questions too!

I tend to pick up bits and pieces of information as and when, so never felt the need to post before. But, I can't believe I hadn't signed up before! Hopefully see you all around the forums.

I'll try to get Luke to join Copepod, but I may have a struggle on my hands. He's very much quiet about having T1. He has found it funny that I've signed up though. He always says I know more about Diabetes than he does because I'm always on here or other sites!
 
Hi Ren. Belated welcome from me. You're not the first partner to take diabetes more seriously than the actual 'sufferer'. We sometimes have a tendency to find some sand and plant our heads firmly within ! 🙄

Feel free to ask the stuff that's relevant to you and your partner. We all learn from new points of view.🙂
