'IN PRAISE of the NHS': a rare comment to make particularly in these politically troubled and financially challenged times, but in praise of the NHS I intend to be and in particular its employees, from cleaners, tea-trolley-dollies and porters to doctors and consultants, but in particular the nurses and their support staff.
I have just seen first hand the trials and tribulations experienced by these employees.
As a patient I have witnessed the true dedication from the full range of these employees, and am I impressed or what?
Despite the verbal and physical abuse, not to mention being grossly overworked, I never in my two-week stay in Ward C2 saw an unhappy face.
