Essentials:
Can chopped tomatoes
400ml stock (any kind)
Can mixed beans in chilli sauce or mixed bean salad
Chopped onion
Chopped garlic or powder
Worcester sauce (2 tbsp or to taste)
Balsamic vinegar (1 tbsp or to taste)
Mustard (preferably powder, 1 tsp or to taste)
Salt & pepper
Squirt of tomato puree
Chilli (1 whole chopped, or powder to taste)
Sweetener to taste (not aspartame, it doesn?t cook well)
Optional extras:
Sweetcorn
Chopped mushroom
Lean chopped bacon or ham
Diced potato
Pasta (any smallish shape)
Whetever veg is hanging around at the bottom of the fridge
Cornflour to thicken if required
Method:
Bung the lot in a large saucepan and cook for at least half an hour. Adjust seasoning and enjoy.
