Bayer hit by new Royal Mail rules

Bayer like many other suppliers send out free lithium batteries to meter users, have been hit by the new royal mail rules on posting these batteries.

As from the 1st of July 2013 they are unable to send replacement lithium batteries, according to the email I have received from them.

These new rules will also no doubt hit other meter suppliers as well who send these batteries to meter users.

No problems pav, you can't be expected to know what has been discussed everywhere and the search function isn't that great! Apparently the situation is still unresolved so firms are hedging their bets and saying they won't be able to send them out. See:
