Bayer contour usb meter

Basically, any good?

Attended appointment with dsn, I mentioned that I'd heard of a blood meter that downloaded results to print off, she said 'oh yes, Bayer contour, I'll go and get you one' went away and came back with this meter thingy, wrote notes to tell GP to alter test strips on prescription and thrust it at me.

Otherwise appt not brill, got 4 sites of lipotrophy, (lumpy skin) which I hadn't spotted, which could be affecting my up and down bloods, told off for not changing needle every injection, and next appointment brought forward to July (usually 6 months) Hba1c gone up to 8.2 as well.

sorry appointment not brill, but regarding bayer usb monitor thingy (sorry hypo at the mo and a bit shakey) I have used it for about 2 years (i think) and what I like about it is that you can print off a summary for any period you want it downloads last 2000 readings and you can do what you want I barely look at them but I can if I wish and have done. You can mark a readin as pre or post meal and do a bit of analysis, also a good size and light on end if testing in dark, which is useful! So go for it!
