We struggled to find (full carb with lots of dark dried fruit) Bara Brith in Wales recently so my partner had to bake a loaf when we got home.
Did you know, Morrisons stopped stocking it in theirWelsh stores in 2006? Might have something to do with the 36% of teenagers in Wales who had never tried Bara Brith.

We used to get Sally Lunns - delivered to the door with the bread - 70 years ago.

My daughter came home for a visit (shes been teaching in S Korea for 2 years) the one thing she requested before arriving was to have a slice of my wifes barra brith to eat in the car home from the airport.
