At least ?7,500 was raised for children with diabetes at a ball put on by two mums.
Gemma Robinson, who has a daughter Faith (3) with type one diabetes, and Kirsty Casey say they are overwhelmed by the support they received ? and will definitely hold a second ball next year.
Some 352 people attended Spalding?s Castle Sports Complex on Saturday night for a three-course meal and dancing to live music from Zebra and a disco organised by Shaun Neal and Paul Webb.
There was also a silent auction.
The mums have already presented ?1,000 to the children?s diabetic ward at Boston?s Pilgrim Hospital and the rest of the cash will go to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
