A male nurse arrested in connection with poisoning deaths at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport has been rebailed pending further inquiries.
Victorino Chua, 46, was arrested in January on suspicion of tampering with medical records at the hospital and was further arrested on suspicion of three counts of murder and 18 counts of causing grievous bodily harm.
He was later released on police bail, which was extended on Friday.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "A 46-year-old man arrested in connection with an investigation into the tampering of medical records, the deaths of three patients and the deliberate poisoning of 18 other patients at Stepping Hill Hospital has had his bail extended to September 10.
