Hi
I'm struggling with my food for last week
Saw GP today
I have chest infection and was given antibiotics, had chest x-ray
Slightly low oxygen on 94
Blood pressure low - on two different tables for high blood pressure
I have quite bad body ache, all this combined has made me very tiered and sleepy all the time
All I want is carb food, majority of the food is unappealing at the moment
I have forced myself to try and at least some healthy foods
I have stuck to Greek yoghurt, strawberry and seeds
Lunch hit and miss, most of the week I was ok for example I had yesterday I had two boiled eggs and one toast....today I failed had one cheese roll and some crisps
Struggling mostly with dinners
If I think of cooking something and deep down I don't want it I feel nauseous at the thought of it
I'm draining myself mentally, physically I fee drained
All I want is chips on their own

Sorry to hear you’re ill @Suky R One lowish carb thing I turn to when I feel rough is soup. I always keep a lowish carb can of soup in the cupboard. I find Baxter’s has less of the thickening gloop and tastes more like homemade. The carbs vary but are usually around 11-14g for half a tin. That stops the salt craving I often get when I’m ill and I find the soup soothing too, as well as easy to eat and easy to heat up.

I have been telling myself to have soup, but still haven't managed to....
Might have to force myself.... otherwise I will regret not doing this once I'm well
