Have checked twice and BG is between 4.3 to 4.6 yet I'm really hypo trembly. Have had Lucozade and a biscuit:(. Not sure if it is because I'm generally lacking in energy

I tend to get that when I'm dropping really quickly - it's almost like advance warning. Hope you're feeling a bit better now.

I agree with Monkey, a fast-falling hypo can give me pronounced symptoms at non-hypo levels. I suppose it's logical really, as a non-diabetic person would not fall quickly, their levels would be finely-balanced between insulin and glucagon responses to keep us in the 'Goldilocks Zone'. Hope you are feeling better byt the time you read this Amanda 🙂

Thank you Monkey and Northener that would be a good explanation although not sure why it would happen as I hadn't had any humalog for four hours. Still feel slightly trembly so wrapped up in duvet

Possibly the insulin 'pooled' where you injected and then you got a sudden influx from it. I've had lots of hypos like this at between 4 and 5 hours after injecting when you might reasonably expect it to be 'tailing off'. Keep safe and snuggled! 🙂

I hope you're feeling a bit better now xx

Is this a normal or a one feeling ?? You dont need extra stress do you 😉

Yep I've had this before. I might feel a bit weird so I check my blood sugar. It'll be between 4 and 5 yet I was 7-8 earlier perhaps (this only happens at bedtime) so I know my blood sugar is dropping fast so I tend to have a fizzy drink and some carbs to try and offset the hypo before it arrives. 🙂
