So every Friday is chip night and I’m renewing my drive to sort out my diet. While everyone else had fish and chips I ordered a battered sausage and scampi. I then peeled off all the batter and hey presto …no spike this evening so far. I also had half a ryvita with butter.
It’s been an hour and so far gone from 5.7 to 7.2 - I also drank 3 small glasses of water to counteract it too.

What have you eaten and tweaked to keep it from derailing your sugars?!

I get shish kebabs and eat them with low carb wraps 4 carbs instead of pitta. Never stuff myself, usually only eat half and eat the rest the next day with a salad

Carbzone wraps from ocado, with an online shop, But plenty of other places do them. google low carb wraps
