So today my libre has decided that it no longer wants to stay connected to my phone. Tried all the usual, rebooting, toggling Bluetooth etc to no avail. It still works perfectly, just have to do a manual scan each time , and no alarms.

Could it be that your phone's Bluetooth has died or do you have it paired to other things and the signal isn't strong enough to pair with the Libre as well? The scanning is via NFC so a different system but the CGM readings and alarms come via Bluetooth, which suggests either sensor or phone BT is caput. Do you have anyone else in the household that you can download the Libre2 app and see if their phone will pick up the readings?

Hi Barbara
It's quite a new phone, so I doubt it's caput, I was fiddling with the Bluetooth yesterday getting a speaker to work in the garden , it was all working fine before that, so it is more than likely something I've done than a faulty sensor. I'm going to have another fiddle with the settings .

If you paired a new speaker to the Bluetooth on your phone, it may be coincidence or it may be related to how many devices you have paired.
Have you tried removing a device from the pairing?
Usually there are a maximum number of devices that a Bluetooth receiver can receive from. I have also phone a (possible) software glitch which causes problems when there are more devices paired even if they are not connected at the time.

Sorry for your bluetooth woes @Martin62 - hopefully it will all resurrect at the start of your next sensor, and it’s not the start of a long Libre struggle.

Yes I have nothing paired now , but still no joy.
I'm not going to worry too much about it and hopefully when I start my next sensor all will be fine again.

Replace it and report as faulty Bluetooth in the sensor? Abbot replaced one for me for the same reason last week.
