I know that this might sound like a silly question but how do you know that back pain is muscular related or something internally (ie gynaecological)?

Is it worse when you move about? I think I'd see the docotor or go to A&E depending on how bad the pain is. It will give you reassurance at least and you'll find out what it is.

If i try and bend down i can only go so far and if sitting down, when i get up it hurts. I've taken a couple of paracetamols at lunchtime today and will see how it is tomorrow and probably go and see my GP. I go to the gym so not sure if i've pulled something from a gym workout.

I think it would depend on the location and how bad the pain is. Caroline is right, this one for the experts. In the meantime, you could try a heat pack or hot water bottle to see if that helps ease things.

Back pain can be many things. I went all last year with chronic pain, had 2 scans but nothing found, several blood tests, and it was decided it was muscular as it was going into spasm at times when I moved.

So I would think you have a similar symptom but get it checked out for infections etc for peace of mind.
