I'm back home from my few days in Chester but concerned about my bgls - from yesterday and today - I've had one or two high bgls
27/7
8:37am 8.5 waking - later than usual
10:39am 10.5 before breakfast
14:30pm 12.5 before lunch

26/7
07:03am 15.8 waking - this was my mistake from the previous evening
10:24am 6.8 before breakfast
14:40pm 5.4 before lunch
20:00pm 12.4 before tea
23:43pm 10.3 bedtime

any help at all with this is appreciated - can anyone spot a pattern that I can't see

We’ll need more data to see a pattern, but presumably yesterday you were lower around lunchtime because you corrected the high first thing, which you know was from a mistake you made.

The only thing I can think of immediately is that you are back home again - you were concerned whilst away that your numbers were a bit too perfect, now you’re home they’ve gone back up again, sometimes just the change of scenery can make a difference. Leave it a few days and see how it goes, either it will settle again or you might end up having to do some more adjustments. That’s diabetes for you!

Thanks @Sally71 and yes that's diabetes for us it can sometimes make the right choices and sometimes it can make the wrong choices - at teatime 20:15pm it made a right choice of allowing me a 5.6.

Hope you enjoyed Chester. It's a lovely place. I used to live nearby so we would head into Chester for shopping. I used to love the cheese shop by the North Gate

No more highs yesterday 🙂

Two highs today 28/7
8:22 waking 16.0
10:08 breakfast 6.5
14:04pm lunchtime 13.5
