Good Morning,

I just had my doctor's appointment. I explained that sometimes I can feel a bit light-headed (although this lasts for around a couple of seconds). What I found interesting is that I only had a cup of tea with unsweetened soya milk. I never took any of my medications. Yet my blood pressure was 128/75 and standing up 139/90. These are the lowest they have been for some time. Makes me think about the amlodophine I take, considering I never took it. and the first reading is the lowest for over 2 years. Luckily, she put me through for a blood test, and I took one straight after....so her goes. This one will also take into account my sugar levels also...so a week from now should get my results.

Until the next update 🙂

My blood pressure is always low and I get light headed spells, especially if I've been bending down to look at something in a shop and then stand up - everything goes black for a few seconds. It sorts itself out though and nobody seems bothered about it!

Hi Rustee,
My Mum had this problem when she was put on bp meds, so her Dr told her to change the time she took the meds. So she takes them at night now instead of the morning.

I'm one of those who has to take meds to increase my bp as it goes to low. 🙄

Thanks for the encouragement. I was really pleased about my BP though. As it's at a very good level. That's why I wonder about Amlodipine, after all, the times I have been to the docs and have taken it in the morning, my BP has been higher.
Doc said to me let's see how it goes before they advise me whether or not to reduce my dose. I had my metformin last reduced back in May 2012, so here's hoping...

Hook or by crook, I am determined to come off all the meds altogether.
