Hey Guys,

I just got back from holiday yesterday, I went to Crete with some friends. Had a lovely time but towards the end my BS were getting me down a bit towards the end. I did best I could but a mix of funny sleep patterns, unordinary foods and yummy cocktails all played a part in this!

I ate as well as I could but most meals came with chips & rice hence a lot of carbohydrate. Plus I was eating ice cream! I'm coeliac as well so I didn't 100% stick with safe options, just the safest so that probably also played havock. Got to 21.1 at one point!

Now I seem to have a back log of sugar haha. Hopefully if i'm good it will sort itself out in a couple days, I always worry that i've broken myself for good!

I also seem to still be ill, which has gone on from the end of July :/ (when I wrote about it in my blog). Coughing up thick mucus which is unpleasant and uncomfortable. I've already been on antibiotics for it. I'm not really sure what it could be?

Nice to see you back Liz, glad you had a good time 🙂 Sorry to hear how the pesky health conditions got in the way though, hope when you are settled back into your routine you are feeling much better 🙂

Glad you enjoyed your holiday but sorry to hear you still have the pesky cough.

It will pay you to be persistent with your doctor over this. When I couldn't shift my cough I kept going back until he eventually gave me some tablets to clear the mucus.

Hopefully now you are back and getting into a normal routine your numbers will settle down too.
