Hi Everyone. What a terrible couple of years. Its ages since I was here. Also changed my email and other data during lockdown. First period did the million steps challenge.. Second period not so active really depressed.

Been having problems with instant release Metformin and side effect suddenly kicked in. Been put on Slow release just 500mg a day to get a benchmark. Been on 10 days today with 4 days at the start no meds. Speaking to the doctor on Friday. Feeling much better no side effects and sleeping better. Running average incl the 4 days no meds in 7.6mml. Bit high first thing and at the night read at 8pm. A couple of spikes in there, still I would like to see it under 7. Am I dreaming lol!

Welcome back @Quakerbod

Lovely that you have rejoined, but sorry to hear what a rough time you have been having.

What adjustments have you been making to your meals to help your body keep your BGs down? Do you think keeping a food diary for a while might help you spot patterns?

Glad the SR Met isn’t giving any side effects 🙂

Good luck with your renewed BG management endeavours. Be kind to yourself!
