A judge ruled yesterday that there was insufficient evidence against a woman accused of attempting to murder a baby by injecting her with insulin.
Nicola Warrender, 28, of Aberdeen, went on trial last week accused of attacking the infant twice with injections of the diabetes medicine.
But after five days of evidence at the High Court in Aberdeen Lord Matthews ruled there was no case to answer and acquitted her of all charges.
