A mobile service that collects blood from more than 7,000 donors at their workplaces across the West Midlands is to be axed.
NHS Blood and Transplant has confirmed its bloodmobile, which travels to offices and places of work across the region for staff to donate blood at convenient times, is being decommissioned in April.
The donors will now have to find static collection centres to continue to give blood.
