It would appear that the coding widget thingamajig that comes with every tub of strips has been replaced with a lifetime one. The widget is black in colour, and removes the need to replace everytime you start a new tub. 🙂

Slight reduction in resources has got to be good 🙂

Yes - we were discussing it on here ? last week I think!

111 to you ! LOL

Sorry, I didn't see that posting (not been on for a while).😱

Not sure if it's coincidence, but the second box of strips I have been using after the change has produced ten errors so far - a couple of 'faulty strip' a couple of 'too much blood' and 6 that simply didn't register at all :( Never had problems like that before.

'Too much blood'?!? That's not an error I've EVER seen in maybe 15 years of Roche meter use 😱

Ring Roche - they'll send you some nice free ones Alan. Yes I know we get em free on scrip - but this way it bypasses the NHS entirely and Roche pay for them.

I'm on my 3rd Nano in as many years, and my current one is playing up again. Another call to Roche is on the cards me thinks.

I'm on my third too - there's a flaw with the batteries I believe.

I've noticed that, but also the problem for me is every 3rd or 4th test the machine keeps going into 'set up' mode. Annoying to say the least.
