just noticed on my meter that my average bg is 6.6 for last 7 days (59 tests) 6.6 for 14 days (117), 6.6 for 30 days (256) and 6.6 for 60 days (491)......pretty consistent! 🙂

That's pretty consistant! 7.4, 7.0, 7.3, 7.3 for me!

Great numbers Phil!

I'm glad it doesn't go to 2 decimal points 6.66 would be too weird!

that's pretty good too Rob...not sure if I managed those readings on MDI 🙂

Phil, I hate to tell you, but your meter is broken 😉

Great consistency! 🙂

That is brilliant consistency, well done

blimey well done phil.

mine are good in terms of clustering but nowhere near yours!:

7 days - 8.6 (48 tests) - would have been a hell of a lot lower without that flippin 20.2 last night after gym!!!! GRRRRR
14 days - 8.5 (98)
30 days - 8.4 (206)
60 days - 8.1 (505)
90 days - 8.5 (633)

🙂

Hmm.

7 days, 6.6.
14 days, 6.4.
30 days, 6.2.

The trend is slightly upwards as I work to get my numbers into the range the DSN requested, between 5 and 9. Thank heavens for my phone app or I wouldn't have a clue. The numbers seem to be steadying too, with fewer hypos. I think I'm down to two or three a week, mostly minor and very few episodes of double figures, only two if those since the New Year.

7 days - 6.8
14 days - 7.2
30 days 7.0
60 days 7.4
90 days 7.2

This pretty much covers the life of my aviva expert..

I find it really interesting when people post their numbers as I have quite high averages but a low hba1c. I suppose it depends when and how often you test.

7 days 8.1
14 days 8.8
30 days 8.7
90 days 8.7

Sd 2.6 on approx 9 tests a day

Hba1c 51 or 6.9%

Stunning averages tho Phil

...still very consistent though Dory

I've been working hard on it....I am aiming for my next A1c to be about 6.2.. maybe a little lower. On a normal day I test on waking, before meals, 2 hours after meals and before bed and during the night (i usually wake at 3am)

great numbers Benny.....especially as you are on MDI 🙂

I think theres a lot more when it comes to averages... All those times we dont test.. The spikes 1 hour after eating.. How our bloods behave through the night. Do we test after and before meals etc etc . I think it shows that the people who preach 4 -7mmols at all times to get a good hba1c or else!! Arnt really correct. I aim to keep under 10 after eating (Below 9 is better and below 8 is great) and in the 4 to 7 range before meals. I do spike on certain meals, and I do have lapse like every normal person. Ive minimised my hypos, and Highs above 10 / 11. And last hba1c was 6.3 (With an xmas inbetween. I guess its about setting the targets that are right for you and having an awareness of whats going on now and again during the other times we may not test.

Thats just the way I work, not saying its the same for everyone - Im happy feel good, and any complications I was having during the darker bad conrol days have either gone away (For now) or stabalised.

We can all always aim to do better but there is a fine line between keeping it in check and letting it rule your life!
