You don't say! 🙄

An automated on/off feature built into insulin pump systems can suspend insulin delivery when it detects low blood glucose levels (via continuous glucose monitoring), significantly reducing the severity and duration of hypoglycemia in individuals with type 1 diabetes, according to a study published in Diabetes Technology & Therapeutics, a peer-reviewed journal from Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.

Bit confused here! - some pumps have or one pump has got that facility already hasn't it? - is that not what I've seen Adrienne call the 'Low suspend' feature?

That's what I thought. Obviously needs to work in conjunction with a CGMS.

Mills-Peninsula Health Services (San Mateo, CA), and Medtronic Inc. (

Funny enough the medtronic pump in conjunction with cgm is the only pump that does this 😛
FDA last I heard still hasn't approved the veo yet so............ look where the research came from.

Oh I forgot you have to prove stuff again to flaming Americans.

Have they discovered the earth's round yet?
