Hi all

Read somewhere that Atkins shakes can be a good breakfast if you struggle with carbs first thing in the mornings. Any thoughts or has anyone used these before?

I've not heard of them. I do however use a purely protein shake for breakfast as i was struggling with high bs after breakfast. This one has no carbs or sugars and won't make me put weight on from myprotein, I emailed them and got them to tell me what would suit me best. It is called impact whey isolate - nice flavours can be made with skimmed mill or water.

Thanks for the info. Does it impact on your bs at all? Obv it would a little if make with milk. Where do you buy it from?
I'm struggling with my mid morning results

Hi Megan, has no impact on my bs at all. I buy it though www.myprotein.com, its about ?18 per kilo, you need a Shaker. The raspberry is really nice. The one I'm on now is apple and raspberry, but you need double the liquid for this one and taste very sweet.

I'd email them your requirements and get there advice x

PS I don't have this everyday, I have 1 egg on 1 granary toast twice a week, and porridge twice a week

If you have it roughly 3 mornings a week, how long does it last you? X
