Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I have been a diabetic for over 10 yrs type 2 , did struggle at first but went on insulin voluntarily
To keep diabetes in controll as the tablets did not work and all the diabetic team was just give me more and more tablets , anyway for some months now I have been experiencing a dull ache in my shoulders and my arms mostly the right arm feels like no blood getting to my hands , this problem is realy getting me down not sure what it is , when I lay down in a certain position it stops ,
I'm trying a process of illumination, is it the medication ? I know apaxaban can cause cold hands etc
Just wondered if anyone else has these symptoms if there is any more information i can give for a realistic answer will be glad to do so thank you john

have you seen your gp about it?

Sounds to me as if you should see a doctor.
But if you want to know the side effects of your pills, these should be listed in the leaflet that comes in the box with them.

@Gumflumph , that really sounds like something that you should call your GP about sooner rather than later. It could be side effects, could be something else, but without proper tests it's difficult to say. Whatever the cause, it shouldn't be taken as something 'normal' and would require the opinion of a medical professional.

I had put up with terrible pain particularly at night which meant I couldn't get comfortable to sleep lying down so was sleeping (or not sleeping) propped up. I / had tried everything, TENS, massager, heat and cold, voltorel get with little improvement. I eventually went to my GP and had some x-rays which revealed arthritis and rotator cuff damage. I have had physio and been seeing a chiropractor and although not completely better and probably never will be they are worlds better. I am a bit older than you so it is something that catches up with you as you get older. My hobby is bellringing so I use my arms all the time.
So definitely go to your GP.
